Notice concerning the party responsible for data processing

We are the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data such as names, email addresses, and other personal information.

3. Contact form

If you send us questions via our website, we will collect the information provided to answer your inquiries and follow up as appropriate. We do not share this information without your permission.

We process any data you provide via the website only with your consent per Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR. You may revoke your consent at any time by contacting us. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.

We will retain the data you provide via the website until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected by this provision.

4.1. Newsletter data

If you would like to receive our newsletter, we require a valid email address and your agreement to receive this newsletter. We only use this data to send the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

We process any data you provide us with only with your consent per Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can revoke consent to the storage of your data and email address as well as their use for sending the newsletter at any time, e.g. through the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.

The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be used to distribute the newsletter until you cancel your subscription when said data will be deleted. Data we have stored for other purposes remains unaffected.

4.2. Use of MailChimp

We use MailChimp's services to distribute our newsletters.

MailChimp is a service that manages and evaluates newsletter distribution. If you provide information (such as your email address) to subscribe to our newsletter, it will be stored on MailChimp servers located in the United States.

MailChimp has certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield. The Privacy Shield is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the United States to ensure compliance with European privacy standards in the US.

We utilize MailChimp to analyze the performance of our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent by MailChimp, a web beacon file embedded in the email connects to MailChimp servers located in the United States. This allows us to determine if the newsletter message has been opened and which links you clicked on. Additionally, technical data is collected (such as the time of retrieval, IP address, browser type, and operating system). This information cannot be attributed to a specific recipient and is exclusively used for statistical analysis of our newsletter campaigns. The results of this analysis enable us to customize our future newsletters to suit your interests better.

If you do not wish to have your newsletter usage analyzed by MailChimp, you may unsubscribe from the newsletter. A link to unsubscribe is provided in every newsletter we send, or you may also unsubscribe directly on our website.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You may revoke your consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.

The data you provide when you register for the newsletter will be utilized for distributing the newsletter until you decide to cancel your subscription. Once you cancel your subscription, your data will be deleted from our servers and those of MailChimp. Any data we have stored for other purposes remains unaffected.

For further information, please refer to MailChimp's privacy policy at https://mailchimp.com/legal/terms/.

4.3. Data Processing Agreement Completion

We have taken steps to ensure the protection of our customers' data and have entered into a data processing agreement with MailChimp. This agreement obliges MailChimp to safeguard the confidentiality of our customers' data and refrain from sharing it with third parties. The agreement can be accessed by visiting the following link: https://mailchimp.com/legal/forms/data-processing-agreement/sample-agreement/.
